If you are new to our site, please see below and you will find an explanation of the many ways you can search on C-listing.

A - By Category

You can find a business, service, or product by choosing one of the categories listed on the top of the page, or by choosing one of the categories under the section "More Categories."

For example: click on the category "Restaurant"

Each category has its own homepage, which is usually an advertisement but sometimes it's a story related to the category. Therefore, when you click on any one category, that category's homepage will be brought into view. If business listings are divided into more specific subcategories, they will be shown on the right hand corner on top of the skybanner. Keeping with the example above, if you chose "Restaurant," the following should appear:

"Chinese Cuisine"
"Italian Cuisine"
"Fast Foods"

Click on the one that better fits what you're looking for. For example, if you want to find a Chinese restaurant, click on "Chinese Cuisine."

Occasionally these subcategories are divided into second sub category, which will make your search more specific. They can be found right below the top banner of the page and just above the listings.

Keeping with the example above, if you chose "Chinese Cuisine," the following will appear:

"Beijing Cuisine"
"Cantonese Cuisine"
"Chaozhou Cuisine"
"Fuzhou Cuisine"
"Shangai Cuisine"
"Sichuan Cuisine"

Click on the one you prefer and restaurants under that sub-subcategory will come into view. Listings are arranged alphabetically.

When a category is not divided into sub-categories, you will not see any subcategories on the right hand side of the page, and you can view the listings in that category by clicking on "View Listings" on top of each category's homepage.

For example:
1 - click on "More Categories"
2 - click on "Accessories"
3 - the "Accessories" homepage will appear. Press on "View Listings" to access the "Accessories" business directory.

B - By Key Word

By Word

You can also find the business you're looking for by simply writing either one of the words of the business itself, or the name of the street where it lies.

For example:

-Input "Grand" in the Search box.

-Results:
1 - Flower Shop
1920 Grand Street

2 - Grand Sky Restaurant
1765 Canal Street

By Name

If you know the business' name, but want to find their phone number, address, or see their ratings and reviews, you can find it by simply writing its name in the Search box.

By Zip Code/Address

If you know the business' address or the zip code where it's located, but don't know the name, you can find it by writing either or both the address and zip codes in the Search box.

Note: When doing a search by word, name, or zip code, it is highly probable that multiple listings will come into view. But you don't have to go through each one of them to find the business, service, or product you're looking for. Instead, you can use the sorted out categories on the right hand side of the page to make it easier. Keeping with the examples above, if you typed the word "Grand" in the Search box, the listings will appear in the main body of the page, but on the right hand side, the sorted out groupings will come up, with the number in parenthesis showing the number of businesses under that grouping:

Clothing (4)
Bars (2)
Hair Salons (5)

C - By Phone

-If you don't know the business' name, address, or zip code, but know their phone number, you can find it by writing it in the Search box. Keep in mind, however, that instead of parentheses, dashes should be used for the search to be effective.

For example: 212-555-4433
